Gives the chests a 3D model, texture and even new sounds for the normal chests! The Enderchest even got an animated portal inside of it, what more could you possibly want?

Consistent new chest texture for llamas, horses, mules & donkeys when they have a chest placed on them.
In short, the chest on mobs now actually uses the texture/color palette of the new Reimagined chest, instead of still using the old vanilla one.
Wow, I love the pack and that textures, but it would be cool if you also made version with the original chest textures. :3

Well simple answer would be it simply looks a lot better than the end portal, trust me I’ve even tried.
But if u want to be technical, the nether portal makes more sense, since nether portals are used for fast travel and are 2-way portals which u can create with obisidian. Makes sense for a teleporting inventory chest. End portals on the otherhand cannot be created, only activated, and are 1-way portals.
